Thread to start live sports scores

Twitter is preparing to join the competitor Threads platform in live sports score displays, initially starting with the NBA league. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta Platform, recently made the announcement with the promise of adding more sports leagues in the future.

During the game, users simply have to search for their teams on the platform to get updated scores. Similar to the feature of

Scores will feature two team logos, and clicking on either of these logos will direct users to an online conversation regarding the team.

Threads is getting into the game after deciding to remove political recommendations from the site, which it considers a good trending topic on social media. The NBA discussion has been quite stormy on X, with coverage and conversation about the pro basketball league. It appears that Meta is trying to create some storm on its platform and increase user engagement. Apple also recently announced its own sports initiative.
