Samsung launches new Android tablet

Samsung quietly released an Android tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, in Romania without any launch event or press promotion. The 2024 model of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is already listed on their Romanian site.

Featuring a 10.4-inch TFT display, 2000 x 1200 resolution and decent-sized bezels around the screen, the new tablet has an 8MP rear camera, while on the front there is a 5MP selfie camera hidden in the bezels. The device comes in three colors, Oxford Grey, Chiffon Pink and Mint; With an S Pen upon purchase.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has an “octa-core processor”, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage for the base model, which can be expanded with a microSD card. Samsung has also added a 7,040mAh battery, with 15-watt wired charging. Optional LTE connectivity, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Although the features aren’t that impressive, it feels like a good midrange Android tablet. The company has not yet released details on when it plans to launch the device in other regions.
