Microsoft is bringing KMB support to Xbox cloud gaming titles

Microsoft has finally decided to bring keyboard and mouse support (KBM) to select cloud gaming titles. The company has already started testing the alpha skip-ahead ring check out KBM function on web browsers (Edge and Chrome) and the Xbox PC app.

To try out KBM support, users will need to be a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber and enrolled in the PC Gaming Preview program. If the feature is being tested through a web browser, users will be required to switch to the preview features.

Some games may still display the controller on the screen, but once users start using the KBM, the game will switch to its own interface after moving the cursor or pressing a button. On browsers, KBM will only work when playing in full screen mode, and you’ll need to click Game Stream mode to recognize mouse input.

Xbox Cloud Gaming titles to receive KBM support are Fortnite (browser only), Ark Survival Evolved, Sea of ​​Thieves, Grounded, Halo Infinite, Atomic Heart, Sniper Elite 5, Deep Rock Galactic, High on Life, Zombie Army 4 Dead War, Gears Tactics, Penitentiary, Doom 64 and Age of Empires 2. Fortnite (browser only), Ark Survival Evolved, Sea of ​​Thieves, Grounded, Halo Infinite, Atomic Heart, Sniper Elite 5, Deep Rock Galactic, High on Life, Zombies Army 4 Dead War, Gears Tactics, Penitentiary, Doom 64 and Age of Empires 2.
