Apple’s new iPad Pro is likely to be launched in May, overseas production will accelerate

Apple’s overseas suppliers have stepped up production of the company’s new iPad models and plan to launch them in early May, Bloomberg News informed of, on Thursday, quoting people with knowledge of the matter.

The report said Apple’s initial plan was to launch the new iPads in late March or early April, but it is still working on finishing the software for the devices.

The report says that the new iPad Pro models will feature Apple’s latest M3 chip and will come with redesigned versions of the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil.

This update will represent Apple’s first overhaul of that lineup since 2018.

According to the report, iPad Air will get a new processor and 12.9-screen size.

Apple did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

The iPhone maker said this on Tuesday will hold Its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is scheduled to take place from June 10 to June 14 amid reports that it is in talks for an AI partnership and may unveil significant changes to iOS.
